One of the main reasons one would want to work from home is to be able to spend more time with their family. It would be nice to be able to earn a good living without ever having to leave the house. I'm sure this would make a lot of husbands and wives very happy. Even if one has a second job, they can supplement it with a work at home job instead.
One great way to make a living online is to do non traditional data entry. This is also referred to as affiliate marketing. What this entails is typing ads online in order to promote online web businesses. In return you will be paid 50-75% of the products or service value. Many people are making a killer living doing this in their spare time and even some are doing it full time.
You can easily find a job like this by running a search on Google for online data entry. There are 2 different kinds of data entry so you have to read through the website carefully. You can also do traditional data entry however, this one does not pay nearly as much and you are required to have excellent typing skills and some skills in data entry as well. These ones are more of your 9-5 type jobs even though I doubt you would get that many hours.
Your non traditional data entry is your most popular because for one, it has not been effected in any way by our economy. The money hasn't budged a bit. People are still making a killing online from this and there is plenty to go around. There is a small investment fee involved however it is worth it and very affordable for what you get in return.
After all this said you do still have to be careful not to fall into your typical scam websites an there are plenty in data entry as well.
Here are some key things to look for when searching for a data entry job online or any work from home job for that matter.
1. Make sure there is a valid way to contact the company such as email ,phone number or online contact form.
2. Make sure the companies web address is a paid one and not a free hosted, cheapee site.
3. Also make sure their email address matches their domain name and not some free email such as yahoo.
4. Run a search on Google with the companies name and read all the way to page 3.
5. Run the website address through sites like bbb, and ripp off report.
If the company passes all of these tests then your on the right track to finding yourself a legitimate online job.
