How to Find a Legitimate Online Job

Firstly you usually don't have to part with any cash to get an online job. Some companies have what they call a registration fee that needs to be paid before you can start. These are scams. On no account pay any kind of fee to get a look at the jobs you want.
There are lots of places you can find work though. Job search sites are a start, but they don't always have many 'work from home' type jobs. Freelance job sites are the next best place to go because they have lots of work in lots of areas. You can join for free too, although a small monthly fee will get you more features and benefits.
The best bet is to get free memberships to these sites, try them out and get your first job from them. If you feel a paid membership is then worth it, you can pay for it from the earnings from your first job.
But there are other places to look as well. Depending on the nature of the job you want you can visit relevant blogs and websites that give out job listings. Even using Google and specific job search engines like Indeed.com will help you to unearth plenty of possibilities. Just be sure to check them out thoroughly first though.
And don't forget the classified sites either. Places like Craigslist do have scams listed but they also have genuine jobs. If you aren't sure you can always organize a trial with a company and see if they pay you for one or two sample pieces of work. If they don't you won't have wasted a lot of time and energy for nothing.
